Vault of Heaven by Lucy Valentine
Vault of Heaven is the multimedia album and art installation by Lucy Valentine. Created using the celestial spheres and the Swedenborgian idea of angels taking up practical places in these corporeal realms, the Vault of Heaven is a soundscapes to accompany each artwork collage in the series. The installation features a fully animated film to accompany the static artwork and 21 track album.

Album
Vault of Heaven is a soundscape series of compositions to accompany each artwork in the Vault of Heaven series. The music was created using the historic Mellotron's sound banks to create an interstellar re-imagining of what each world might sound like. Using sound collage from cassette fragments, the mellotron authentically helped enhance the surrealist landscapes.
Vault of Heaven was released on The Crystal Cabinet label in December 2023 on limited edition cassette.
